No matter what skin type (dry, normal, oily or sensitive skin) you have, exfoliation can bring new life to your complexion. Regular skin cleansing is clearly beneficial, but with additional of exfoliating on a regular basis can improve the results of your skin care routine and help rejuvenate your skin.
I was looking for a gentle exfoliator during my last visit to Sephora. and the beauty consultant recommended me a few brands. I picked up Caudalie Deep Cleansing Exfoliator amongst the other brands for one reason - it was the cheapest. (less than MYR100)
Caudalie is known for its cosmetics formulated with natural and environmental-friendly active ingredients. Caudalie Deep Cleansing Exfoliator is formulated without parabens, sulfates, synthetic dyes, petrochemicals, phthalates, GMOs and triclosan. Bonus point for a tree hugger like me.

The ‘whipped cream’ texture offers a little luxury with fresh and fruity notes of grapefruit and white peach for an uplifting and satisfying aroma. The beads micro-particles is very tiny and fine. Perfect for thinning and sensitive skin.
I tried it the night I bought it and boy, it really does brighten and smoothen out my skin while I was going through a period of dull, clogged pores. no thanks to stress and several weeks of not exfoliating after running out of my regular exfoliator.
Tips: I usually soak cotton pad with toner and place it onto my face for 5 minutes after exfoliation. It helps to reduce the pore size and calm my skin after exfoliating.
I would consider to repurchase once I have finished this. I am still looking for a cheaper exfoliator which is natural and support eco-friendly.
Verdicts
I love the cooling effect (perfect for warm weather here) while buffing off my dead skin and the smell is refreshing. After exfoliation, I notice light redness appears on the side of my nose and around my cheeks, it is normal to me as I have sensitive skin. The redness diminished after I applied toner. My skin do feel softer, smoother and brighter. Serum and moisturisers are absorbed better into my skin!
