Beauty Review: Etude House Brush Shower Cleaner | How I Cleanse My Makeup Brushes

Nicole Cynnie | Etude House Brush Shower Cleaner (Review)

Hello there  not washing your makeup brushes is like the equivalent of not washing your face.

received a 50ml makeup brush cleanser (a free gift) from Etude House last year. I am not gonna lie, this is, *hands down* by far the best free gift I ever received from cosmetic stores. I usually clean my makeup brushes with dishwashing soap and olive oil before I even knew there was a makeup brush cleaner product in the market. I professed my love for this makeup brush cleanser.

Etude House Brush Shower Cleaner is a safe and most hygienic way to clean your dirty brushes. It comes in a light pink bottles and a light brown cap.

Makeup clumps up and dries on brushes, making them rough or just plain gross! Instead of buying new brushes, you can make them look and feel brand new with this cleaner.

How I cleanse my makeup brushes?

Pour cleanser into small glass or receptacle and insert brush head into solution. Use brush to stir solution and remove makeup residue. Remove brush from solution and rinse with running water. Squeeze off excess water and lay the brushes slight slanted onto a towel as seen in the picture above. Let the gravity pull all the moisture from the brush and air dry before using.

Do not let the brush dry flat as the water may find it's way to loosen up the glue. It is to prevent brushes fall out.

The solution is non creamy. Its texture is like water with light floral scent. There were little bubbles foaming during cleansing hence it has less harmful drying agent as compared to dishwashing soap. I wash my makeup brushes every week (when I put on makeup regularly) or monthly (when I put on makeup occasionally). Its gentle formula can clean any brush and leaves them with a nice clean floral scent without over drying the brush brittles. I love how it can make my brushes looks anew and smells good.
