Continue from previous post (here & here), I am going to review my favourite product by Gobdigoun in this post. Most Korean have flawless skin because they took care of their skin well. Away from the daily skincare routine, weekly treatment is a must to keep your skin looking like a baby butt.

The Placenta Cellulose Gel Mask
What is it?
The Placenta Cellulose Gel Mask contains no alcohol, pigment, preservative and harmful fragrance, making this a great mask for sensitive skin type. The gel mask is made of Bio-Cellulose which is obtained from cultivation of microscopic organisms with similar structure to cellura walls of plants. Bio-Cellulose in Gobdigoun’s Placenta Power includes highly polymerized compounds obtained by cultivating the natural microorganism called Acetobacter Xylinum along with the fermentation of natural ingredient (coconut extract).

The main ingredient of this mask is Sheep Placenta Extract (1800mg) and Squalan Macadamia Terniforlia Seed Oil. The Macadamia Terniforlia Seed Oil helps to improve the balance of moist and oil of the skin while the Sheep Placenta Extract knows for its abundant amino acid, peptide and moisturizing ingredients which help the skin feel elastic and moisturized.
Packaging
The Placenta Cellulose Gel Mask comes in a box of 10 sheets weighing 45g each. The packaging of the mask sheet is very luxurious and it comes in dual — T-zone and V-zone. The mask itself is very rich and thick, and there is still a good amount of content left after removing the mask from the pouch— I love how generous the manufacture is. The contents of the label are written in both korean and english, even with pictures on how to use.
Application
The mask is now added to my weekly mask routine. Like any other sheet mask, unfold and place the sheet mask on to your skin, wait for 15-20 minutes. Remove the sheet mask and pat your face gently afterward. Continue with your night time skincare routine.
Performance
The mask is made of bio-cellulose which is reportedly 10 times superior to cotton in adhesion and delivery of nutrients. The physical strength of the mask is stronger than I thought as gel mask usually break before I even place it on my face. The meticulous 3-dimensional structure fits nicely to my face and after only one session, I can see visible changes to my skin. My skin feels brighter and hydrated, and skin looks plumper. Suitable for all skin type.
