Dr.Douxi Yolk Replenishing Eggshell Soap 朵璽 蛋黃修護卵殼皂 Review

Nicole Cynnie | Dr.Douxi Yolk Replenishing Eggshell Soap Review
Hi readers, how was everyone’s holiday? I just got back from Seoul 5 days ago and it was freezing cold especially when the strong wind blew across my face. My skin became extra dry and flaky after being in the winter for a week. Been slapping all the lotions and moisturizers onto my face to bring back the healthy dewy skin.

If you’re currently suffering from sensitive, dry and/or combination skin, I wanted to introduce to you this awesome product that I received from Hawooo.com. It’s the Dr.Douxi Yolk Replenishing Eggshell Soap.

What is it?

This cream-based soap cleanses the skin mildly. With york oil, eggshell essence, and silk protein, it can effectively regulate healthy skin and takes care of the skin while replenishing and cleansing it. It is suitable for dry, combination and sensitive skin.

Dr.Douxi Yolk Replenishing Eggshell Soap comes packaged in a yellow and white coloured box. The contents of the label are written in English and Chinese. When open, the soap is wrapped in a thinly cellophane wrapping paper.

Application

After removing makeup with my Kosé Cleansing Cream, I wet the soap and lather between palms until it foams. The forms eventually turn gooey and here’s the fun part, when the foams lather up, slowly separate palms apart and the gooey, stretchy foams pulls away fairly like how you pull off melted cheese when having pizza. This happens because of the hydrolyzed silk protein in it, amazing isn’t it?

Then, apply foams onto face, massage gently, rinse and voila! I suspect the soap might have unpleasant eggy smell but it has zero smell. The texture of the foams is very soft and it spreads smoothly.

Performance

After washing my face with the soap, I felt plump and fairer instantly. My complexion looks very good as if I have put on foundation. My skin does not felt tight and I love how it left my skin soft. The redness on my jawline does reduced and I am positive that this soap would help healing my acne scars and redness in the long run. Yolk Replenishing Eggshell Soap using 100% natural ingredients with no alcohol, parabens, chemicals, fragrant, colours and preservatives. Definitely suitable for sensitive skin.
