Fly me to Krabi with DiGi & Malindo Air!

I was having a dilemma of visiting Krabi and Bali during my CNY trip this year,
and as you already know, I chose to visit Bali

Krabi is one of the ideal destination I wanted to visit after watching 'SHINee's One Fine Day' where Onew explores Krabi alone with PINee, where he name his pineapple bag after SHINee. Gah, so cute!

Onew and PINee
In the show, I got attracted by the sandy white beach, the clear sea, the shady seats under the trees and the breathtaking scenery. I can't wait to see the real one with my own eyes, feeling the sand with my own feet and having freshening coconut juice while enjoying the sunset.

and also taking nice scenery pictures in world famous Ao Nang Beach.

Now.
Digi , Malindo Air and the official hotel sponsor, Mercure Krabi Deevana, hotel partner of Asia Web Direct is having the 'SPOT & FLY With DiGi – Malindo Online Contest'

Only three bloggers could get the chance to win a pair of return tickets on maiden flights by Malindo.
*finger crossed that I'm one of them*

Malindo Air is now offering promo fare flying from Subang Airport (SZB) to Krabi (KBV) as low as RM184 inclusive of 20KG baggage allowance and refreshment on board. Unlike other budget airline, Malindo Air has lots of good review on extra legroom and in-flight entertainment.

if you're an internet addict like me, Digi roaming is now offering unlimited internet for RM32 per day in Thailand. For only RM32 a day, you could update all the pictures and video taken during your trip on all your social media.

and Mercure Krabi Deevana, hotel partner of Asia Web Direct is having room rate starting from RM125 per night.

Day 02: Seminyak - Legian - Beachwalk

On Day 02 (02.02.14),
after having our breakfast in the hotel.
my family and I decided to walk to Beachwalk through Legian from Seminyak.
The street in Bali is very different from Malaysia, it has only one way road for vehicles.
Along the way, there's boutique, saloon, spa, art crafts, cafe and convenient shops.

Apple store in Bali. How cute?

Look at this! They sell petrol in bottles

After 40 mins of walking and window shopping, finally we reached the entrance of Legian Beach.

Walahh, The Legian Beach!

Legian Beach
We spent less than 5 mins at the beach because we could not resist the heat there. The sands are so hot that it could cook an egg there. In hurry,we marched towards our last destination, Beachwalk Mall. We could actually walk along the beach if the weather is cloudy or just right. since it's not, we are forced to pass thru all the hotels.

and after 15 mins of walking, we had reach our destination.

The route from Legian Beach to Beachwalk

and Hello, beachwalk!!
Once we reached, we went to their food court for lunch. they have variety of food choices, but the food was just okay to me. after that, we went shopping in the mall.

Found this awesome slipper vending machine in the mall.
and did you notice I've changed my slipper? I bought a new one for around RM69 a pair because the flipper I'm wearing scratched the skin of the feet. and yes, I bought the slipper before passing a slipper vending machine.

and selfie!
After one day of walking, we hired a cab back to our hotel.

and mark the end of my Day 02 Bali trip.

Horison Seminyak

During CNY last year, I went to Hong Kong with the family.
and this year, we came to Bali, Indonesia for our CNY gateaway.

We landed in Ngurah Rai International Airport on the first day of February.
Upon arrival, we were picked up by the hotel's van to our hotel, Horison Seminyak.
It was late when we reach our hotel, I see no other guest in the lobby but the staffs of the hotel.
We were welcomed with some fruit punch juice on our arrival. After settling some paperwork in the front desk, we were lead to our hotel room with our luggage carried by the staffs.

and here I mark the end of Bali Day 01.

The hotel room is not very spacious, but is big enough for a family of three.
Extra bed is added in our room

We booked our hotel room together with our flight through AriAsiaGo. Around RM2-3k for return flight tix and accommodation of 3 pax. Cheap right?!

The booking we made inclusive of daily buffet breakfast, sounds even cheaper right?

Here's some picture on the next day

Family picture with a lady wearing Balinese costume

and me, myself.
we basically stayed here for our entire trip in Bali (5 nights).
I would say that their service is really good, and their pancake is awesome, no joke!

Here's the location of the hotel
and it's just a 15-20 mins walk to Double Six Beach.
You can catch a sunset there or surf! Although the beach is not as clean as Legian Beach.

[Movie Review] Lucy

I'm a fan of science fiction movie and this movie hits the boom!

Most of my friends doesn't like the movie, saying that Lucy is more like a Discovery channel movie and it's so boring. Guess, people like me who loves to watch the Discovery channel would love it.

My brother was planning to watch the movie with my family and I on the released day (21st August in Malaysia), but it got full house. so he bought the Friday's show.

Here's the movie trailer if you haven't watch it yet.

The movie is around 2 hours long and 85% of the movie is actions.

This movie is basically about actions, science, and human's brain. (No romance at all!) Normal human being uses six to ten percent of our brain capacity. Lucy, the star of the movie, had drug flows in her body which increase the uses of her brain capacity.

Not going into the details, not going to spoil the movie.

But.
If you watched the movie.
when a person hits hundred percent of the usage of one's human brain, that person got disappeared into thin air.

At the end of the movie, the policeman asked the professor where has Lucy been after her brain reaches hundred percent. The professor didn't answer him and then, he got a text from Lucy saying "I'm everywhere".

and.
THE END.

At that moment, I was like, huh? what? What kind of ending is that? She just disappears and turn into a thin air floating around the earth??

My mom looked at me and said.

God.

God knows everything, God has the answer to everything. and God is everywhere.

and then I go... WOW! That really make sense.

Thumbs up for a movie like this.

First Try, Gel Nail

I got attracted by the Raya Promotion board standing outside 1930's Professional Nail in City Mall, offering RM68 for gel mani or gel pedi and FREE art stickers. (normally RM90)

With no doubt, I did my nail.

Under sunlight
Indoor
The manicurist suggested me to get two gradient (or ombré) because I have short fingers and the area of my nails are small. I chose transparent and gold, so that when my nails grow longer, it won't be obvious. I'm really happy with the service there as they provide professional advise, and you get to watch movie while they are doing their magic on you. no worry on getting bored.

but one thing I don't like about the whole gelish process is they use UV light to dry out the nails, which is not really good for the skin. not sure if other nail saloon uses UV light too, if yes, I might need to reconsider to do gel nail.

Goodbye, May

Spent the last day of May eventfully.

Boyfriend bought me a ticket to a stress management tea talk at Great Eastern Mall, Ampang yesterday. The talk was great, I love it and I have learnt a lot. and now, I have a better understanding about stress, acknowledging them and how to shed them away efficiently. It was a great morning, and thank you Chun for sharing this great opportunity to me.
