Dream Trip to Macau

Nuffnang Contest

After watching the Korean TV programme, Running Man, I've always wanted to visit Macau for once. In the show, the scenery, landscape and even the people is so warm and friendly. and because I've already seen Macau thru TV, and I'm a wanderluster, Macau is one of my dream trip.

I'm actually saving my money for it. and coincidentally, all glory to Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) and Nuffnang, they are giving three Nuffnangers a 3D2N all expenses paid holiday (including return air tickets and two nights accommodation at a 4-star hotel) to Macau.

during CNY last year, my family and I went to Hong Kong to visit my relatives. because we bought our ticket last minutes, we didn't have time to get China visa to visit Macau.

I was only 50 miles away from dreamland. =(

Here's the Three Most Amazing Things that I wanted to visit in Macau.

1. House of the Dancing Water

The world largest water-based show that is created and directed by the world's greatest showmaker, Mr. Franco Dragone. The show has no language and the performers do acrobatic to perform the show and express their meaning. The show lasts about 1 hour 25 mins and performs weekly from Mon to sun, usually rest on Tuesday and Wednesday. They provide show time at 5pm and 8pm only.

2. Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Tower

The one of the tallest tower free-standing tower in the world is the city's iconic landmark, standing 388 meters at its highest point. Sometimes a go, I've watched one of my fave Korean TV programme, Running Man went to Macau Tower for some extreme adventure.

3. The Venetian Macau

The Venetian Macau a.k.a. The Grand Canal Shoppes is like a retail therapy with luxury duty-free shops. Other than shopping, the architecture and design are very attractive too. It is located inside Venetian Macau Hotel. Can't wait to take pretty pictures there!

Besides the pretty places I wanted to visit, here's Three Most Amazing Food I wanted to eat in Macau

1. Portuguese egg tart from Lord Stow's Bakery

Portuguese egg tart is Macau's most famous street food, and the most popular one is from Lord Stow's Bakery. Lord Stow's Bakery has several outlet throughout Macau, so finding one wouldn't be hard.

2. Portuguese Seafood Fried Rice

Whenever I saw 'Portuguese fried rice' on the menu in any restaurant, I would definitely order one. I've tried once in my hometown, but unfortunately, that restaurant has been closed down, and eversince, I have been craving and searching for it. All I know is Macau is famous for Portuguese food, so I would definitely wanna try one there. Upon Google search, I've found that in Fernando's Restaurant, they serve Portuguese fried rice, and the restaurant was ranked the Traveller's Choice of 2014 in TripAdvisor.

3. Pork Bun from Tai Lei Loi Kei, Taipa Village

The pork bun is like a Macanese style fast food or some called it street food. I've read a lot of travel blog review about pork bun in Macau, which makes me wanna to try pork bun too!!!
