After my trip to Maldives and Thailand, I have gotten pretty tan. I have been applying lots of whitening skin care products but it does not seem to work fast. Coincidentally, hawooo.com—Taiwan online shopping website offered to sponsor me a bottle of BHK’s Glutathione and it was sent to me all the way from Taiwan. How lucky I can get?

Weekend Getaway to Langkawi Island (Vlog)
Wednesday, 20 May 2015
Note: If you're too lazy to read, Vlog is attached at the end to the post!
After a tedious 6 months internship back home, the Boyfriend and I decided to take a short getaway to Langkawi Island. It was a 3 days 2 nights trip.
We booked our flight in the late 2014 and didn't know that the weekend we went was during Malaysia school holiday and also the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA) 2015. LIMA is one of the largest maritime and aerospace exhibition in the Asia-Pacific, so you could imagine the crowd.
We were told that we could get any car rental stall at the airport upon our arrival, but there were no car for us because of the big event. The taxi counter are forced to close because the taxi demand are too high and there were no taxi left. After a long wait, we decided to walk to the road where the entrance to the airport is, and grab a taxi before the reach the taxi station inside the airport. Lucky us, I was so worried that I would stuck at the airport for the rest of the trip.
Checked-in to our hotel in Kuah, and managed to call an agent to rent a car. If you search from the internet, you may get car rental as low as RM50 a day, but due to the big event, we rented a Kia Picanto for RM120 a day.
Beauty Review : FINE Hyaluron & Collagen
Thursday, 5 February 2015
I've always believe that the beauty on the outside always come from the inside. Other than daily skincare routine, our inner health is important for beauty skin too. Collagen drink is quite popular nowadays, and I know many of you have heard how good a collagen can help with your skin.
I've taken FINE Hyaluronic & Collagen drink for almost 3 months now, and believe me, I've never regretted having this every morning.
What is FINE Hyaluronic & Collagen? It is a complete beauty formula in fine powder form. I was told that collagen in powder form absorbed greater in our body than those in bottles.

The main ingredients of FINE Hyaluron & Collagen are
- Collagen (5250mg) - Restores youthfulness
- Hyaluronic Acid (60mg) - Excellent moisturizing agent
- Biotin (45ug) - Keeps hair and nails healthy
- Ascorbic Acid (100mg) - Keeps skin healthy
- Elastin (15mg) - Improves elasticity
- Pearl Coix Extract (450mg) - Removes spots and hyper-pigmentation
What I like about this collagen is, it contains Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) in it. Why? Because Vit C helps better collagen absorption in our body. The collagen would be a waste if our body has not enough Vit C, they work together in our body. It it good to take it with beverage that is high in Vit C.
Like I said, I've been drinking FINE Hyaluron & Collagen for 3 months now, and I see improvement on my skin condition. My skin is more supple and watery, and the elasticity of skin gets better. Even my boyfriend said my skin looks better than before. and I feel that my skin is more vitalized.
and the most obvious improvement I've seen is the glow. I don't usually see my skin glow even after applying BB cream, but my mom been asking what did I do to my skin that it looks so glow-wy. I told her that I did makeup, but I know it was because I've been drinking collagen.
so what is the suggested intake?
take one spoonful (7g) of collagen powder into your desired drink, coffee, tea, soy milk, chocolate or even fruit juice (if you like fruit milkshake) every morning. and yes, it could mix with cold, warm and even hot water. How awesome is that? I usually take soluble Vit C supplement twice a week to helps better collagen absorption in my body.
Note: If you're a vegetarian, this is not suitable for you. The collagen is made out of fish collagen peptide.

Picture taken on October 2014. I have hormonal acne, red spot, uneven skin, clogged pores and dull looking skin. Not you ideal skin type.

Tho my hormanal acne (that comes before my menstrual, every month!!) so I will have some red dots here and there, but look at my skin texture, it's a lot more smooth and radiant.
What I do not like about this collagen drink?
It is not travel-friendly. I hope they have sachet size tho, so I can just grab a few sachet in my handbag and just go when I'm on a vacay. I usually take my breakfast outside, so it is a hassle to make a drink when I'm rushing. Not sure if they have the sachet size, but I have not seen one yet.
Good news!
Mask Slim Gallery is having CNY promo now till end of February 2015.
Grab it while stock last.

My Morning Korean Skincare Routine
Thursday, 25 September 2014
After
nearly 2 years suffering from acne/congested pores, my skin has gradually
getting better since I’ve changed to Korean
skincare products and changed my simple cleanse-tone-moisturize to skincare
layering.
I
used to only use the basic skincare regime while I was suffering from congested
pores. Since my skin is doing no good, I got Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, Cetaphil
Moisturizing Lotion and Laneige
Sensitive Power Essential Skin Refiner as toner. The 3 products I’ve been
using are very mild, gentle, most suitable for skin like me. To be honest, they
works amazing. My skin got better and better.
Till
one day I went to Sephora in Sunway Pyramid with my mom to look for liquid
foundation, I gain more knowledge on skincare. I was complaining to the beauty
advisor that how the foundation doesn’t stick to my skin and how flaky my dry
skin is. Coincidentally, she was suffering the same thing like me, and she was
fully recovered!
She
told me over the years, she had tried plenty of method and regime to cure her
face, so I took her advice on how to take care of my skin. From makeup to
skincare to cleansing method. Although I did not buy everything from her, cause
she understand that I’m still a student and suggest me to start from drugstore
skincare.
Now,
let me start my morning Korean skincare
routine for acne/congested pore/sensitive skin, shall we?
(1) Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser (Sensitive skin)
It
is a very gentle, soap-free cleanser that has the formulation of fragrance-free
and colouring-free with pH6.5 which is mild enough for my skin. It is also
non-comedogenic which does not clog pores and leaving me supple, soft skin. (MYR42.30/473ml)
(2) Etude House Wonder Pore
Freshener (Pores concern)
Act
as a toner which further deep cleanse my pores and also help maintain 4.5±1 pH level which
control sebum production during the day. It minimizes appearance of pores and
keep the elasticity of pores. Other than that, it helps refine the skin tone
and moisturize inside and outside of the skin. (MYR99.90/500ml)
(3) Skinfood Salmon Brightening Eye
Serum (Dark eye circle)
It
is a concentrated water-based serum rich in omega-3 fatty acid, haloxyl,
arbutin and vitamins to improve blood circulation and whiten skin for excellent
radiant eyes. (MYR95.00/30ml)
(4) Skinfood Watery Berry Serum (Dry skin)
A
dewy hydrate serum with vegetable oil complex capsules [grape seed oil,
sunflower seed oil & camellia oil] that deeply moisturize and hydrate skin
by promoting soft, glowing skin. (MYR88.80/70ml)
(5) Skinfood Watery Berry Eye Cream (Fine lines)
A
wrinkle-smoothing, gel-type eye cream that keeps delicate skin around the eyes soft
and glowing with various berry extracts hyaluronic acids and adenosine. (MYR88.80/30g)
(6) Etude House Moistfull Flower
Cream (Dull)
Moistfull
Flower Cream supplies hydration and retention layer to promote a naturally
smooth, radiant complexion. (MYR109.90/50ml)
(7) Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Jelly
Water Based Whitening SPF30 PA+++
It
is enhanced with Water-retaining System to lock in moisture while hydrating
skin at the same time with its cool watery texture. The jelly is non-sticky and
non-greasy while it spreads easily on skin, leaving it soft and light so skin
feels refreshed and relaxed. (MYR32.90/90ml)
okay, so here's my tips. Find cleanser that is mild and toner that focus on pores, and others like serum, cream, eye cream, etc ... based on your skin type or what you concern.
